The uneven end face of the film slitting machine refers to the uneven end face phenomenon that occurs when the film width remains the same.

There are generally two manifestations of the uneven end face of the film slitting machine: one is the irregular and uneven end face, and the other is the regular wavy irregularity.

Causes of uneven end faces of film slitting machine:

1. If the slitting parameters are not well adjusted, such as the poor coordination between the slitting speed and the tension/pressure, the tension/pressure curve should be set according to the slitting speed;

2. Abnormal vibration of slitting equipment;

3. The slitting and winding roller is unbalanced;

4. The parameters of the winding arm at both ends are inconsistent, and the flatness of the end face is affected by the component force in the winding process, which usually appears as a wavy end face.

5. For the influence of film characteristics, such as haze, etc., the slitting parameters should be set according to different film characteristics;

6. The thickness of the film is uneven;

7. Wrinkling in the slitting process will also cause uneven end faces, adjust and flatten the film;

8. If the static electricity of the film is too large, the electrostatic performance of the film should be improved or the static eliminator should be checked to see if it fails.
